Spies glad he escaped injury

Ben Spies said he was relieved not to suffer any serious injuries in his Silverstone crash, having been given a clean bill of health following medical checks. The American fell at Abbey while running sixth in the extremely wet British Grand Prix today. He was taken to the medical centre for checks having reported back and neck pain, but scans showed no damage
