Team Lotus secures GE backing

Team Lotus has announced a major new sponsorship deal and technology partnership with General Electric. GE branding will appear on the Lotus cars and infrastructure from next month's Silverstone race onwards, and team boss Tony Fernandes said the partnership would go much deeper than a standard sponsorship.
