Carpenter sets up IndyCar team

IndyCar race-winner Ed Carpenter has set up his own team to compete in next year's championship. Ed Carpenter Racing has been formed by the 30-year-old American, former series chief Tony George and golf legend Fuzzy Zoeller, who has been a long-term backer of the driver. "I am extremely excited about the opportunities that lie ahead with Ed Carpenter Racing," said Carpenter, who broke his IndyCar duck by winning at Kentucky this season for Sarah Fisher Racing.
