UFC on Fox picks, Vegas-style: Velasquez a little heavier than normal, something to worry about?

The day has finally arrived. Tonight, there will more eyes on a UFC event than ever before. The debut on network television coincides with the 18-year anniversary of the promotion. The fighters have handled a ton of media responsibilities and both appeared to get a bit weary with Cain Velasquez saying/trying to convince himself that "this is just another fight."

Velasquez is the overwhelming choice of the fighters. He enters the fight as a solid minus-160 favorite.

Three slight knocks against the champ include - dealing with a long layoff (13 months), coming in at career-high weight for a UFC fight and the health of his injured shoulder. There have been rumors that Velasquez is still dealing with some after effects of his shoulder injury. His weight of 249 is five pounds heavier than the 244 he sported entering his UFC 121 title fight against Brock Lesnar.

The folks at Bloody Elbow take a stab at picking all 10 fights on tonight's card.
