Paffett heads Brands warm-up

Gary Paffett set out his stall for the Brands Hatch DTM race by setting the fastest time in warm-up. The who will start the race from the front row - hit the front after seven minutes with a lap of 42.822 seconds, knocking his HWA Mercedes team-mate Ralf Schumacher off the top in the process. Martin Tomczyk worked his way up to second place - 0.014s behind Paffett - by the end of the session, the Phoenix Audi driver being the best of those in older-spec machinery.
